For the safety of everyone involved in the collection and recycling process, please do not place hazardous or prohibited materials in your skip.
Incorrect disposal of items such as lithium batteries, gas cylinders, paints, chemicals and asbestos can increase the risk of fires, environmental contamination, and serious damage to waste processing facilities.
If you discover any prohibited items before collection, please remove them and dispose of them through an authorised recycling or hazardous waste facility.

The following waste can generally be placed in our skips provided it is non-hazardous and suitable for general waste disposal.

Timber, fencing, pallets, MDF, plywood, furniture.
Soil
Clean soil, rubble, sand, gravel.
Concrete
Concrete, paving slabs, bricks, blocks.
Glass
Window glass, bottles, glassware.
Metal
Steel, aluminium, tools, pipes, scrap metal.
Paper
Office paper, books, magazines.
Cardboard
Packaging boxes, cartons.
Plastics
Plastic containers, PVC, packaging.
Bricks & Rubble
Bricks, tiles, ceramics, rubble.
Waste We Cannot Accept
To comply with UK environmental legislation and waste disposal regulations, the following materials must not be placed in the skip under any circumstances.
Chemical Waste
Paint thinners, solvents, pesticides, cleaners.
Liquid Waste
Paints, oils, fuel, chemicals.
Food Waste
Perishable food, kitchen waste, organic refuse.
Fridges & Freezers
Refrigeration appliances cannot be accepted.
Gas Canisters
Propane, butane, LPG cylinders.
Asbestos
Any asbestos-containing material.
Paints
Tins of paint, varnishes, coating products.
Animal Waste
Meat, bones, manure, veterinary waste.
Items Accepted with Additional Charges
Some materials require specialist processing and recycling, meaning an additional disposal fee may apply. Please let us know before booking if your waste includes any of the items below so we can provide an accurate quotation.
